Shell Nigeria held its 2019 Engineering Week tagged “Engineering culture in a changing energy world” on the 18th to 20th of June 2019 at the Shell IA Restaurant. Present at the event was PE Energy Limited as an exhibitor showcasing its OEM partnership depth and strength. PE Energy also bagged the best exhibiting vendor award at the event.
The Engineering Week was held in a bid to chart a course for the future via interactive fora to promote knowledge sharing, innovation, collaboration, and the Projects & Engineering (P&E) Identity Narrative amongst SCiN (Shell Companies in Nigeria) staff, partners and contractors. According to the organizers, the event was to deepen the SCiN P&E identity narrative (courageous, ingenious, and competitive) across the business; To create a platform for the SCiN engineering community and its partners to share knowledge and collaborate; and to provide a forum for the discussion of initiatives to address existing challenges and emerging trends in the rapidly evolving energy landscape.
The key areas of focus during the engineering week included Asset of the Future, GHG / Carbon Intensity Reduction, SCiN P& E Identity Narrative, Competitive Project Delivery, Systems Engineering, Requirements Management. PE Energy Limited had representative in attendance from some of its OEM partners including Multi Instruments, Mokveld Valves, Bornemann, L&T Valves, Endress & Hauser, and Solartron ISA.
